Mohammad Needs Thicker Skin

It seems the religion of Peace has its turbans in a wad over some drawings of their beloved prophet Mohammad. Drudge Link And, big surprise, leaders the world over are losing bladder control because the honorable prophet has been offended. Give me a break.

If there is one thing I am sick of, it's a bully. And another thing I am even more sick of is people who pander to a bully. I say every paper, internet site, and bubble gum wrapper should sport these drawings. What are the peace-loving Islamics going to do, take on the whole world? C'mon people, it's simple playground sociology. Show the bully that he's really just a big dork with a sissy complex and he'll go whimper back to mama, or seventy-two of his favorite virgins, and leave the rest of the kids to play in peace.

A good place to start would be with our own president. Mr. Bush needs to stop throwing the Islamics an alibi by touting Islam as a misunderstood religion of peace that has been misrepresented by a few extremists. Islam never has, nor will it ever be, a religion of peace. In Bush's next speech he might want to mention that.

And leaders around the world need to grow a spine, crawl out from under their desks, and stop issuing weenie statements condemning the cartoons as an insult to religion. I mean really, have you ever seen such a display of cowardice in your life?

World leaders haven't stood up to protest the scads of antisemitic cartoons that riddle Muslim publications. And I've never heard Kofi Annan, the United Nations secretary-general, speak up for Christians who are repeatedly satirized in print and televised media. (Silly me using poor Kofi. Everyone knows terrorists stick together.) So why are the Muslims getting the world's shoulder to cry on? I can give you the answer in one word: Fear. Our world leaders are a bunch of pansies when it comes to this particular bully. In fairness to President Bush, he has shown more spine than most. But for the most part, they all implement the CYA tactic of throwing the Muslims the "peaceful religion" bone. It's pathetic.

When ridiculed and persecuted the Jewish nation does not launch an all-out jihad (they just parcel out their land). When beaten, martyred, and stripped of their rights (and I'm only talking about what happens in America) Christians don't threaten to kidnap citizens from the offending countries, or polical parties, and behead them on TBN. Nope, only the religion of Peace can boast such antics. And, due to their unabashed bullying around the world, they get away with it.

Really, all this whining about a few silly, albeit accurate, cartoons. It's like the bully being laughed at in class because his fly is open and then beating up the smallest kid on the playground at lunch because he was humiliated. C'mon guys. Suck it up and get a grip. You aren't being treated any worse by the press than President Bush has been. And I don't see leaders the world over coming to his defense!

In an effort to make the playground safer for all, I say surround the bully and show him he's finished with his reign of terror. And I'll even do my part by providing a little ammo. Here are a few of the cartoons published in Denmark's Jyllands-Posten.
